GJW Direct Belle Isle Event at Exe - Preview

Laura Lily - 01st July 2013

The excellent Exmouth is upon us, the last GJW open meeting before the Big One. So be sure to come down to the West Country for that all important last chance practice. Exmouth Open promises to be a superb event both on the water and off.

Saturday briefing will be at 11.45am followed by 3 races back to back starting at 1.00pm. Sunday will then see 2 races back to back starting at 11.00am. We will be racing out at sea with stunning views of the Jurassic Coast. Sailing instructions can be found at http://www.exe-sailing-club.org/documents/Lark%20Open%202013%20SI.pdf .

In the evening, the Exmouth Sailing Club restaurant will be providing full restaurant and bar facilities. Meal tickets will be available at registration.

Exmouth is a lively town and in past years we have had some great times in Exmouth. A memorable Nationals in 2003 comes to mind, with a roaring breeze all week and socials not to be forgotten. Rumours are also abound of a Lark birthday the same weekend so come on down for a great weekend of sailing and celebrating.

Free camping has also been arranged, for further details please contact the class chairman James Ward via www.larkclass.org .
