The 2009 Youth Champs

Hello Larkies
As most of you will be aware the 2009 Lark Youth Championships is coming up shortly, this year being held at Frensham Pond Sailing Club on Saturday 31st of October.
As in previous years there is expected to be some hot competition for the championship title with many of the upcoming talent expected to be there. This year the Lark Class is offering free entry to the 2010 Lark National Championships to the winner of the Youths Title.

The rules are simple, helms must be 21 or under on the day and there is no age restriction on crews, only ability to get in and out of a boat. There will be 3 races with the first race being programmed for 11:00, with a briefing at 10:15.

For anyone wanting to come along but is without a boat then donít worry as there are a number of boats to borrow, and there should be a number of regular Larkies around to help out with Rigging etc.

For further details on how to enter or borrow a boat, or even if you need a crew please contact me on 07717 325 193 or email Chairman@larkclass.org

Final Event of the 2009 Belle Isle:
On the Sunday of the Weekend, Frensham SC is also hosting the final round of the 2009 Belle Isle series. We are are hoping to see a good turn out as there are a number of people who can still qualify for a top 25 place, not to mention those still vying for a top 5 position for the 2009 season.

Looking forward to seeing you all down there for the crowning of the 2009 Youth Champs and the roundup to the years travellers trophy
All the Best John
