West Kirby Open Meeting Preview

Tim Lawrence - 24th June 2008

The West Kirby Open is fast approaching and I echo Steve Chatten's view that this is a great place to sail. The last few years have seen good winds and fine weather. This year will be do different!

All sailing will be on the Dee estuary with 3 races on Saturday and 2 races on Sunday. First race on Saturday will start at 12.00pm with the briefing at 11.00am, giving time for travellers to arrive Saturday morning. We will finish around 3.00pm on Sunday.

We welcome all those who want to have a great weekend up in the north west. With the Nationals in Bridlington and a number of northern boats already entered we hope that the West Kirby open will be very well attended with those getting in some sneaky practice! It takes only around 1.5 hours from South Staffs to West Kirby.

Directions and Notice of Race can be found on the WKSC website www.wksc.net.

If you need accommodation or any more information then please email tim.lawrence@paconsulting.com.

We look forward to seeing you all at West Kirby.
