Pagham YC Open Meeting Preview
It's here at last - our first trip to the seaside of the year!!
For the first time since the 1990's, the larks are returning to Pagham which is situated south of Chichester - directions are below. The reports I have received of the venue are that the sailing is fantastic.
First of two starts on Saturday 21st April is at 1300 with a 1200 briefing; 1000 on the Sunday 22nd for 3 races.
There is dinner and dancing arranged and we are also sharing with the National 12 fleet so the dancefloor should be busy. There is car and boat parking within the club grounds and the club have arranged with one of the neighbours who owns some land near the club to allow camping on their land for a small charge. You can camp here Friday and Saturday night. The Kings Beach is the local pub and has a few rooms; 01243 262006. The Inglenook Hotel in Nyetimber is about a mile away but quite pricey; 01243 262495. Bognor Regis is 3-4 miles away and has loads of B&Bs & hotels.
see you there
