Frensham Pond Bronze Fleet Report

Challenging conditions from drifting to full on force 4 provided a few spills and plently of thrills for all at Frensham. The Bronze fleet was lead by Tony & Anna Hotchkiss who put in four solid and consistent results including a third in race three, to finish 7th overall. Team Allen finished second in the Bronze fleet, 10th overall and were the first Parker Lark, having their best Open meeting yet.

Jane Alexander had plenty of glory in the first race by being the first boat to the windward mark, (although some insider trading may have gone on) only to be overhauled by a few of the Gold and silver fleet.

Race 4 was notable for the gusts that came through, which made for some great 2 sail reaches. At least five Bronze fleet boats, including Rob & Ruth Marlow, Katharine Sampson & Alison Dart stayed on the pace and had a great race. One boat was dropped at the windward mark to leave the Hotchkiss's to lead the small pack home and take the coverted Bronze fleet glory.
