In 2011 the Lark class will be holding our National championships at the South Caernarvonshire Yacht Club in Abersoch, where we last held our Nationals in 2005. Abersoch is a fantastic sailing venue, and is popular with many sailors in other classes and well worth the journey. Please put the date in the diary now and do a little research on your accommodation - putting a deposit down early should mean you get a great place to stay!
The SCYC Clubhouse sits on a cliff top on the Llyn Peninsulahas overlooking Cardigan Bay, with stunning views towards Snowdonia, St. Tudwal's Islands & the West Coast of Wales. SCYC has organised races since its founding in 1924 and has hosted many National, European and World Championships.
