Datchet Water SC
Datchet Water Sailing Club is a modern club set on a large inland reservoir providing a complete package for every type of sailor. It is set with magnificent views overlooking Windsor Castle.
The sailing water is 475 acres or about 2km in diameter - making it one of the largest inland areas in the Southern England.
The club has everything required onsite. The waterside clubhouse provides a bar, catering, a newly completed lounge and conference facility offering panoramic views of the entire reservoir. This is great for family and friends to watch the action on the water. In addition there is a professional on site Chandlery, Sailing School and extensive car and boat parking facilities. A complete package for family or keen race circuit sailors.
Datchet Water Sailing Club is located in the South East of England near the village of Colnbrook, Slough, which is to the West of London.
We are only a few minutes from the the junction of the M4/M25 and Heathrow Airport. This makes Datchet Water Sailing Club very easy to access from all directions.

You will pass a BP garage on your left; there is a set of traffic lights by the garage. At these lights take the right-hand lane to enter a long thin roundabout. Take the first exit after the A4, signed Colnbrook, leaving the car sales garage on your left.
In approximately 3/4 mile you will come to another BP garage on your right. Follow the road around the right hand hairpin bend and the club entrance is approximately 1/2 mile on your right, 100m after the last house on your left. (The entrance can be missed easily if you aren't watching for it!)
Directions from M25 J14 - Exit M25 at junction 14. Take the exit signposted Poyle and Datchet. If travelling anitclockwise on M25 this is the fourth exit. If travelling clockwise this is the first exit from the motorway roundabout.
At next small roundabout (approx. 300 metres) take first exit (ignore Colnbrook signs) and stay on that road for 2 miles until you enter Horton village. Pass pub and church on left, approx 100 metres beyond church turn right signed Colnbook. Follow this road for 1 mile and the club entrance is on left before you reach the houses on the right
Club Entrance - There is a road blocker installed inside the gate. Take extreme care when negotiating this as severe damage may be caused to your vehicle or boat if you do not follow the instructions. Drive up to the ramp and wait for the GREEN light. DO NOT TAILGATE. On exiting the club you will require a visitor pass or membership card to exit. Visitor passes are available from the management office, Datchet Water Sports and the Dinghy Store.
